Lifewise Academy on School Property in Tri-County North Middle School
The Lifewise Academy Tri-County North teacher, Lilly Hobbs, and program director, Jan Seibel, set up on school property and in the school to hand out Bibles and Lifewise merchandise to students. Then they received visitor badges and walked off into the school.
According to the school sign-in/out record, this occurred on December 17, 2025, at approximately 11:00 AM. They wouldn't sign out for 2 hours and 45 minutes, until 2:17 PM. Two days earlier, the Lifewise teacher and director were on school property for 3 and 4 hours, respectively.
The principal invited Lifewise to setup in the school and passout gifts.
Zorach vs Clauson (1952) states, "no announcement of any kind will be made in the public schools relative to the program [rule 1]." The Supreme Court's ruling is clear the school must remain neutral with regard to release time programs. Setting up in front of the school office is not remaining neutral.
